Estes Vest

This is my Estes Vest, knit from Hana Jason's lovely pattern in the Fall 2008 Interweave Knits. I used the recommended yarn in the color shown in the magazine -- Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride Bulky in Tahitian Teal. I knit it in one piece, and made the shoulders three stitches narrower than the pattern calls for. If I were to do it again, I would make this vest a little longer, as it just barely reaches my waist. I might also leave out the pockets, as they're too shallow to be useful. I love it, though, and I can't wait until the weather gets cold so I can wear it again. For more details, see my Ravelry project page for this project.
